What do restaurant marketing services include?

Restaurant marketing services are the separate jobs that help a guest find you, trust the listing, and book. A single label on a proposal hides which job you are buying. Name the job, name the person who does it, and name the result you will count.

Which jobs sit under restaurant marketing services?

Toast's 2025 survey asked U.S. adults who had ordered recently how they found a new restaurant. Word of mouth was 38 percent. Walking or driving past was 30 percent. Facebook was 27 percent. TV ads and map apps were 18 percent each. Search results were 16 percent. Instagram and YouTube were 15 percent each, and TikTok was 14 percent. A scope that says "marketing" without a channel is asking you to buy the whole list.

Profile work is in the Google Business Profile guide. Event inquiries are in the private dining guide. PR and paid demand split in the PR and performance guide. Who sits in-house is in the in-house guide.

What can a restaurant marketing service not buy?

Google says local results are based mainly on relevance, distance, and popularity. Relevance is how well the profile matches the search. Distance is how far the business is from the person searching. Popularity includes reviews and sites that link to you. There is no way to pay for a better local ranking. Ads can sit above the free pin. Keep that ad line and the profile line apart.

A new name and mark belong in the branding guide. The partner-selection guide lines the partners up. Fee models are in what a restaurant marketing agency costs.

How should we read a scope for restaurant marketing services?

Ask for one owner per job. Search changes, profile edits, page updates, and the monthly report can be four people or one person with a backup. Confirm the restaurant stays admin. If that access is missing, start with leaving your restaurant marketing agency. A first shortlist uses the vetting guide.

Four lines every scope should have

  1. Which job is in, and which job is out?
  2. Who does that job each week?
  3. What result will the report count?
  4. What does the fee leave on a separate line?

We fit search, Maps, private-event inquiries, and the report that goes with them. Our restaurant marketing agency page is the short version. This guide is the public explanation of the jobs.

What else do owners ask about the services?

What does a restaurant marketing services list usually mix together?

Search advertising, the Google profile, pages the restaurant owns, paid social, private-event inquiries, and the monthly report. Those are different jobs. A scope should name who does each one, and which result you will count for that job.

Is local ranking one of the restaurant marketing services you can buy?

Google says local results rest on relevance, distance, and popularity, and that there is no way to pay for a better local ranking. You can pay for ads, and you can keep the profile complete. Those are different services. Do not let a proposal treat them as one line.

Which service should we buy first?

Start with the empty result. Empty event dates need an inquiry path. A quiet Tuesday needs a reason to come and a way to book. A wrong pin needs the profile fixed before any ad investment. The first service is the one that matches that gap.

Do restaurant marketing services include a new brand?

A new name, mark, and menu language are identity work. Guest acquisition is search, Maps, and the inquiry path. They can run together, with different owners. If the proposal uses one label for both, ask who does the identity and who reads the reservations.
